Tooth replacement Options

Crown and bridge treatment is a long term method of replacing missing teeth. A crown is placed over the individual tooth where there is not suffic ient tooth structure to retain a filling. A bridge spans space where one or more teeth have been lost. The teeth on either side of the space are crowned. Both aesthetics and function are considered when selecting the material most suitable for you case

Dental implants can be used to replace single or multiple missing teeth. They can also be used to improve the retention of partial or full dentures.

There are two stages to a dental implant. First a titanium screw is placed directly in the bone by a qualified oral surgeon or periodontist. After a period of healing, Doctor Sperbeck and his team will restore your dental implant. Another way of putting it is the oral surgeon does everything that needs to be done below the gumline and our office does everything above the gumline. The best part of a dental implant is that it doesn’t alter the adjacent teeth. An implant is a great investment that will last many, many years.

Removable Partial Dentures
A denture is for a person who in need of replacing several teeth and cannot have crown and bridge work. Patients can remove and reinsert the partial when required. Partial dentures are supported by both your teeth and gum tissue

Dentures are a device to replace all your teeth in either the upper or lower arch. Denture are supported by the surrounding gum tissue.

Veneers and Bonding
Veneers are a very thin piece of porcelain that is bonded to your front teeth. They have a life like appearance with strength, beauty and durability. Veneers have several advantages over crowns, with the main one being less tooth structure is removed. Veneers are a fantastic way to restore front teeth. You can whiten your teeth, close spaces and create a great smile.

Bonding can accomplish similar results to that of veneers, but is limited in color, and the amount of aesthetic results one can achieve.
